Yeoh Seng-Guan

Dr Seng-Guan Yeoh is Associate Professor in Social Anthropology in the School of Arts & Social Sciences, Monash University Malaysia.

He is an urban anthropologist and has done fieldwork in Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia on topics ranging from socio-spatial justice, diasporic indigenous identities, everyday interfaith relations, and environmental activism. He also makes ethnographic documentaries. Seng-Guan has been involved with various civil society groups in Malaysia like Aliran, Amnesty International, and Suaram over the past two decades.
